Out to Eat coming in October

One of our favorite local organizations, Outlet, will hold its annual fundraising pary, Out to Eat, on Friday, October 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Oshman Family Jewish Community Center, 3921 Fabian Way, Palo Alto. Come celebrate LGBTQQ youth with keynote speaker Michelle Honda-Phillips proud mom of a transgender girl, advocate for transgender and gender non-conforming youth, and daughter of Congressman Mike Honda. Outlet is a program of Adolescent Counseling Services with locations in Mountain View, Redwood City, and San Mateo. It serves LGBTQQ youth through support groups, educational workshops, and consultation and resource referrals. Learn more about Outlet at www.acs-teens.org/what-we-do/outlet.

This chapter has a very active Speakers Bureau. We provide trained speakers & panels to educate audiences from middle/high schools, universities, churches, businesses, etc. about the issues that face lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender people and their family members.
