New Support Group for Families of Transgender Individuals

Starting in June, PFLAG San Jose/Peninsula is hosting a peer support group specifically for parents and other family members of transgender individuals. Here are the details for our next meeting:

Saturday, September 5, 10 a.m. to 12 noon
Community Room, Redwood City Public Library*
1044 Middlefield Rd., Redwood City

The entrance is to the left of the library. Take the elevator to the second floor.

For the rest of 2015 the group will meet on either the first or second Saturday of the month, at the same time and location. Subsequent meetings will be on October 10 and November 14.

This chapter has a very active Speakers Bureau. We provide trained speakers & panels to educate audiences from middle/high schools, universities, churches, businesses, etc. about the issues that face lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender people and their family members.
